简介：Tom Ripley, a talented forger and con artist, is hired by the wealthy Mr. Greenleaf to convince his son, Dickie, to return home from Italy. Tom travels there and befriends Dickie and his girlfriend Marge. Over time, Tom's obsession with Dickie grows into an uncontrollable desire as he becomes infatuated with him. When Dickie rejects Tom's advances, a bloody confrontation ensues that leads to Tom murdering him in self-defense. Consumed by guilt and paranoia, Tom meticulously covers up the crime and assumes Dickie's identity. However, as suspicions arise, the truth threatens to unravel his carefully constructed charade until he ultimately pays the price for his crimes.
